MaryBeth Scalice, MA, Ed.D
MaryBeth Scalice, M.A., Ed.D. views her life as a living-breathing poem of God. MaryBeth is a counselor, writer and teacher trained in humanistic and transpersonal psychology. Her work integrates psychology with spirituality, offering transformational heart-centered therapies for health, and self-realization. Her practice includes the reality of Spirit as well as mind and body in healing and creating.
MaryBeth facilitates heart opening retreats, workshops, and consultations to individuals, couples and groups. In 1999, she established the Foundation of Open Hearts. Its mission succinctly describes her vocation: to open the heart to the truth of Self as Love incarnate in the world.
Many years ago, MaryBeth’s heart opened, her listening deepened, the breath fell away and divine Union was realized. Through this Union, MaryBeth came to experience the Voice for Love and to follow. Its invitation has been to listen, to write and share the Words that fulfilled her Life. Its poetry revealed a God teeming with Love for creation, eager to communicate. These inspired writings are offered in her book, Write, Beloved, Write: The Living-Breathing Poetry of God.
MaryBeth offers meeting of A Course in Miracles every Thursday night at 7:30 pm. A Course in Miracles is a path for those seeking to let go of fear and embrace Love

Kathie Oremus, Director, and Marketing Consultant
After exploring two careers, one in the financial markets and the other as a business owner, Kathie answered the Call and traded man’s world successes for the teachings of Truth. That search, which had begun 20+ years prior was answered by joining MaryBeth and the Foundation of Open Hearts in 2013 in the teachings of A Course in Miracles. She joined the Board of the Foundation in 2016, giving her time and keen eye to editing and producing our videos. With the support of companions, Kathie is allowing her life’s purpose to be re-interpreted by the Voice for God.
